Jake is a sophomore majoring in Biology with plans to attend medical school. His projects is looking at transcriptional variation and competition between prairie grasses in drought conditions.

Emma Neumann
Emma is a sophomore majoring in Biology and on the Pre-Med track. Her project involves flow sorting chromosome from members of the Agavoideae to pool large and small chromosomes. These indivdual pools will then be seqeunced to aid in assembly of these large genomes.
